Enrollment is now closed for the 2009/2010 school year.

Please remember to collect your tapes for all registered schools!

Dear Community,

One of the biggest priorities we have today is providing the best education for our children. It's not any easy job. Challenged by budget cuts and tough economic times, we know how important it is to support the education system that is responsible for teaching our future generations. To aid teachers and PTA\PTO's with raising funds we have created our base program, the Community Commitment. Now we are very excited to be entering into our second year of offering the Register Tapes for Education Program. This program is an excellent way for participating schools to obtain the equipment and tools that otherwise may be unattainable. The program is easy to sign up for, straightforward and with community involvement can really make a difference. Last year we had an excellent response to this and we are hoping for even greater this year. Together we can all make a difference!

This year the program will begin on September 1, 2009 and run through March 31, 2010. Parents, families and friends of students are encouraged to collect register tapes from all six of our locations and contribute them to their school. All accredited schools that enroll may then redeem the value of the register tapes collected for free educational equipment found in the catalog. There over 2,000 educational items from which to choose including audiovisual equipment, computers, science materials, musical instruments, art supplies, early learning materials, and much more.  Best of all, if the item needed most for the school is not in the catalog it may be acquired by using the Special Request Program.

It's easy to participate in the Register Tapes for Education Program:

  • All schools must enroll either online at Register Tapes for Education Home or by filling out and mailing the self-addressed, postage paid enrollment card on the back of the catalog that was mailed to the school or by calling 1-800-352-4658 and speaking to one of the enrollment counselors.

  • Tape collection is September 1st, 2009 through March 31st, 2010 with final deposits being postmarked by April 14th, 2010.

  • All Special Requests must be submitted by October 31st, 2009.

  • Register Receipts may be redeemed October 1st, 2009 through May 15th, 2010

  • The key to success for this program is for your school to select an enthusiastic volunteer to administer the program and to get the word out to the parents of students. Everything that your school coordinator needs to know can be found in the book by clicking here. It's that simple!

Please accept our offer to help your school earn the supplies and equipment on your Educational Wish List. We're proud to make this wonderful program available to schools. If you have any questions please feel free to visit any of our stores, email our program coordinator, Josh Gunderson, or call the Program Headquarters at 1-800-352-4658.
